There is no caffeine in the Herbal Chai – it is made exclusively with Rooibos, a naturally caffeine free herb from South Africa. Also, there is no caffeine in the Golden Chai, which is made with turmeric from Madagascar.

Unopened, how long can the chai be stored?
About 10-11 months – there is an expiration date on the bottles, and by the time you get it, the unopened shelf life is about 10-11 months. Honey really helps a lot to keep the product fresh and delicious – in fact, honey was just recently found in a tomb in Georgia (the country, not the State) that was over 5,000 years old and still preserved.
After opening, how fast must the chai be consumed?
Our recommendation is 4 weeks. After opening it needs to be kept in the refrigerator. It’s a lot like a lot of products at the grocery store (like ketchup or mustard) – if it’s in the refrigerator, it lasts a very long time.
